Fluvius Mystique

In august 2014 3Steps transformed 100m² concrete in an colorful art work along the “Lahn” in part of the “River Tales Street Festival”. This project is unique for the region central Hesse and Germany.

“River Tales” is the redesign of city, land and river by street-art and mural-art. The natural connection of cities along the river “Lahn” shall be reinforced and expanded by forming art. The long term goal is the creation of an international art path with renowned artists along the” Lahn” in central Hesse. In part of the “River Tales” project over a dozen national and international artists shaped over 1000m² facades and concrete walls with their work in central Hesse since 2012.

Sagas, fairy tales, legends and cultural backgrounds are reflected in the art works. Contemporary art and urban street-art interpret the weave between city, land and river completely new.

River Tales | Flussgeschichten ist die Neugestaltung von Stadt, Land und Fluss durch Street-Art und Mural-Art. Die natürliche Verbindung von Städten entlang des Flusses Lahn soll durch bildende Kunst verstärkt und weiter ausgebaut werden. Langfristiges Ziel ist die Schaffung eines internationalen Kunstpfades mit renommierten Künstlern entlang der Lahn in Mittelhessen.
Im Rahmen des River Tales Projektes haben seit 2012 bisher über ein Dutzend nationale und internationale Künstler über 1000 Quadratmeter Fassaden und Betonwände in der Lahnregion Mittelhessens mit ihren Werken gestaltet.
Sagen, Märchen, Legenden und kulturelle Hintergründe aus den Lahnstädten und der Region finden Eingang in die Kunstwerke. Zeitgenössische Kunst und urbane Street-Art interpretieren das Geflecht aus Stadt, Land und Fluss neu.
